The compact de-gritting plants manufactured by WAMGROUP®, have been installed for Community Waste Management at Onnut Solid Waste Disposal Center.
The four WASTEMASTER® DSF3 Aerated Grit Chambers units have been installed to remove sand from pulp waste. After the hydrolysis process of kitchen waste, the separated biomass turns into fluid with 3-4% suspended solids. Here is when the grit separation occurs, thanks to the DSF3; the process continues toward an anaerobic digester to produce biogas.
The WASTEMASTER® DSF3 Aerated Grit Chamber showed the best footprint-net volume ratio of its kind, as well as decreased infrastructure costs and easy on-site assembly with standard tools only.
